easyPublish & Browser Differences
We are always looking for easier ways, especially when it comes to our easyPublish system. Sometimes having multiple windows open with easyPublish can become confusing. Most of you probably use Internet Explorer, the most popular web browser to access easyPublish administrative component. Internet Explorer has limitations. There are alternatives.
We prefer the browser Firefox by Mozilla, especially when using easyPublish administrative component. Among many popular features, Firefox supports “tabbed browsing.” With tabbed browsing, you can have more than one page open in a single browser window. No switching back and forth between windows, simply click on the tab.
When working with easyPublish, I’ll have the site open in one tab, the images open in another, and the write article in a third. This way I can easily upload images, attach them to the article and review my progress. It’s much less cumbersome than using three windows!
Another great feature of Firefox is its ability to integrate the Google toolbar. The Google toolbar offers many neat features, like instant Google searching. The Google toolbar has a spell check! That’s what I like best when writing in easyPublish. No need to go back and forth to word or other work processing software! Compose and edit right in easyPublish.
Best of all, Firefox is free and easy to install. For more information visit their website at: http://www.firefox.com.
