How do I insert a single image to an article?
Many of our sites come programmed to automatically include an image with an article (see attaching an image to an article). For those which do not normally have an image, but on occassion do, it makes more sense to bring the image into the article.
To do this find the article you want to add the image and open it into the write screen. On the left side, you’ll see the Insert Image link. Click on Insert Image, and the images box will appear. Instead of appending or replacing the image, as is often done with sites that always have an image assoicated with an article, look in the next column that says, “Insert”. Insert has four choices “Insert: Image, Thumb, Popup, Custom.”
Selecting Image will insert the full sized image, Thumb, will insert the thumbnail, Popup will give the image a link to the larger image and Custom is custom. Most often you’ll want Thumb or Popup (remember however that many people now have popups blocked.)
Save the article.
