Hawaii Island Community Health Center is the vision of two Big Island health care systems unifying to create a better healthcare system for all of Hawaii Island residents. West Hawaii Community Health and Bay Clinic merged in 2018, they needed a comprehensive site that brought two separate systems together into a uniform, informational website. Gum Design provided them with the guidance to organize, and structure the new site, along with a step-by-step process to tackle the project while many of the details were still evolving. The end result is a comprehensive guide to doctors, facilities and available services throughout the island. To help reach as many residents as possible, the website strives to be ADA-compliant and high functioning on mobile devices.
